The restaurant doubles as a private meeting room which can seat approximately 20 people and is for hire throughout the week excluding Monday. Lunch after your meeting can be arranged either in the bistro or the restaurant.

Fine Dining
The restaurant with its oak beams and log fires offers an a la carte menu and 2 or 3 course set price daily menu in a traditional setting of white linen, sparkling glassware and silver. A well designed wine list of mostly French wines, is also available to compliment the menu. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and can seat up to 30 people (a ‘private’ corner suitable for a table of 6 people, is also available). Dress code is smart-casual.
Informal Eating
The bistro dining room shares the same characteristics as the restaurant and can seat up to 25 people. The style is relaxed and informal and an extensive "a la carte" menu is available with daily specials on the blackboard which can be studied whilst enjoying a drink at the bar. Open lunch and dinner, the bistro menu provides flexibility between a quick one course meal or a more leisurely 2 and 3 course meal. Dress code is casual.

The Old Plow has a lovely garden and patio area with delightful views of the surrounding valley. There are many public footpaths to try and lunch would not be complete without a walk to the nearby Home of Rest for Retired Horses or a sturdy stroll uphill to Speen Village. Lunch and Dinner is served in the garden, weather permitting.

From small gatherings of 10 people up to large affairs of 55 people, we can arrange wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations, christenings, corporate functions, parties and club/walking groups lunches, to suit your individual needs. Special menus are created for each occasion and the 'olde worlde' setting contributes to a very special day.
